PEMSoft began in Australia 15 years ago. The US version of PEMSoft was released in 2003. Most Australian state health systems provide PEMSoft for all their clinical staff (medical, nursing, allied health and pharmaceutical). PEMSoft is used everywhere from the remote outback clinics to tertiary level children's hospitals. Although primarily used in the most developed health systems in North America, Australasia and Europe, PEMSoft has received enthusiastic acceptance in developing nations.
