PEMSoft modes

To ensure an easy-to-use and intuitive interface, PEMSoft has only two basic modes - TEXT and GRAPHIC/AUDIO. The user alternates between these two modes using the button with the same name (ie, TEXT and GRAPHIC/AUDIO) located in the first "slot" at the top of the column of the right margin buttons. When you click on the TEXT button the GRAPHIC/AUDIO button replaces it and when you click on the GRAPHIC/AUDIO button the grey TEXT button replaces it. In GRAPHIC/AUDIO mode, the right margin buttons open still images or play video clips. A sequence of still images can be displayed as a slide show to illustrate a particular sign, symptom, medical condition or procedure. Section editors are asked to maintain the TEXT mode content and contribute images with captions to be inserted by our programming team who will format the graphic material. Editors only need to send graphic files (eg, jpg or video files) for formating and importation into the software.
