KidsCareEverywhere, a nonprofit organization, is taking PEMSoft to the developing world supporting hospitals in eleven different countries, including Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Dominican Republic, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Congo, Yemen, South Africa and Haiti.

PEMSoft donates the medical software to KidsCareEverywhere, who arranges for installation and training of doctors and nurses in selected coutries. In most of the hospitals, there are plenty of computers, and the physicians read English, so the software is easily accessed.

The KidsCareEverywhere teams have often found that textbooks are scarce and that PEMSoft is the only reference that medical providers have in the clinical areas to help with medical decisions!

In 2010, KidsCareEverywhere supported two interns in Vietnam for six months to collect epidemiological data, installing PEMSoft and training physicians, and studying the efficacy of the software in non-English speaking settings.
